The Wither is a powerful, optional boss mob in the sandbox video game Minecraft. It was first introduced in version 1.6.1 of the game, released in July 2013.

The Wither is created by the player using specific soul sand and wither skeleton skull blocks. Once summoned, it attacks all nearby mobs and players, firing explosive Wither Skull projectiles.

The Minecraft Skeleton is a common hostile mob found in dimly lit areas, such as caves and at night. It is a skeletal figure that attacks players using a bow and arrow.

Wither Skeletons are a variant of skeletons found in the Nether fortress structures in Minecraft. They are taller, black in color, and wield stone swords. They are also the only source of Wither Skeleton Skulls, necessary to summon the Wither boss.
